Recorded with the Sony PCM-3324 Digital System at RCA Studios, New York City, February 1986 and January 1987.
B1 recorded direct to Sony 1630 Digital Master.

A3 was originally written as "Overture For Two Pianos" for Katia and Marielle Labeque.
A2 contains a quotation of two lines from "Solitude" by Eddie De Lange and Irving Mills. Copyright renewed 1962.
B2 is a rewritten version of the orchestral score commissioned by The Daei Corporation for the film "Shijin No Ie" ("House Of The Poet"), which was shown at the Expo '85 Science Exposition in Tsukuba, Japan.
