Additional material was recorded Scheveningen, January 13, 1985.\r\n\r\nThe ‘art of erasure’ is a set of pieces for saxophone-solo, developed rather than composed in the traditional way, during its performances between 1982-1984. Although I have been performing incidentally as a soloist for the past 10 years, my solo concert at the 1982 CLAXON. Festival in Utrecht was a starting point for a more serious concentration on this subject. Since then the music has gradually grown to the its present form, as represented on this album.
